Shadow Lake Village was built approximately 40 years ago on a 158 acre parcel of land on the north shore of Shadow Lake. The village is comprised of 952 units, housing well over a thousand people. Residents must be 55 years of age. Folks refer to it as an active adult community because it’s so easy to stay active here. A 9-hole executive golf course, a beautiful outdoor pool and deck, billiard room, new exercise room, tennis courts, pickle ball, shuffleboard, bocce, kayaking, boating, fishing and a walking path. There are all sorts of groups to join like the Socializers, Love the Lake, the pet club, the gardening club and more. There are trips to shows and places of interest (as if you’d get bored staying right here in Monmouth County). SLV is a gated community with 24 hour security.
